Petrosys is a database that stores technical and managerial information in such a way as affords a geo-referenced view of the Brazilian sedimentary basins.
All of the technical and managerial data and information is in the public domain and was obtained from different sites in the governmental and private spheres. Petrosys makes the data available in layers so as to facilitate access to and cross-referencing of different information.
The system was designed to enable the user to research information on a basin, exploratory block bid round, the position of a well and its final standing in the general classification. All other technical data can be aggregated to this association, for example, wells can be combined with exploratory blocks or seismic lines.
For companies conducting strategic studies for participation in an exploratory block bid round or a partnership with another company, Petrosys offers a series of data and information relevant to investor decision-making. Thus you can check out the signing bonuses offered on a given block, or the percentage shares of companies in contract form.
The system is easy to work with and requires no special training to use.
